Science Project Abstract

Abstract
My teacher recently read that a young Israeli boy had went to the Red Sea with his father. While the boy was in the water the father had drifted off to sleep and woke up noticing that his son was nowhere in sight. He called the police and they searched the beech up and down along with coast guard and they did not find him. About an hour later a helicopter found the boy floating 3 miles out from the shore. The reason the boy floated so far out to sea because the Red Sea is the saltiest ocean in the world. The water was so salty that the current wasn’t bringing the boy under it was just carrying the boy out farther and farther.

After hearing about that from my teacher it made me want to try to see if this same thing could happen with an egg. I figured that the egg could be somewhat like the human body with its yolk inside like blood in a human and it’s shell like human skin. So I decided to test the egg to float in water like the little Israeli boy in the Red Sea.
