Religion In Schools

My personal opinion on religion in schools is that religion can be talked about to a certain extent. When you start trying to impose your religion on other people it goes against the law. The first amendment states that no one should try to establish a religion. So no one should tell anyone that his or her religion is the right religion. Everyone has a freedom of religion.

There are to many religions in this world for someone to think one religion is right. I believe that many religions are nothing but a bunch of folk tales because no one really knows where these stories about their religious leaders came from. All they know is that they have a book telling the story of their religion.

A court case that is a great example to prove that religion should not be taught in schools is the Kilmitzer v. Dover School Board. It was a case that was fought to prove that religion is not science and should not be used in public schools because it goes against the constitution.
